The Return of Stuart McCall
By Bradford City Supporters Trust, Feb 24 2020 01:49PM
The Trust welcomes Stuart as the Clubs' new manager. He is part of the fabric of Bradford City and is probably the ideal candidate to progress the team. Stuart will be well supported with the backroom staff. With 4 games in; drawn one, won one and lost 2, it is plain to see that he and his number 2, Kenny Black have their work cut out in turning things around, and fans will have to be patient.
It is a shame however, that Gary Bowyer didn't work out. This was his first full season in charge, and to his credit, alright, the football wasn't brilliant to watch, but he did help the team reach third at one point which is an achievement in itself.
The negative support in the crowd and online prior to Stuart's arrival was counter productive to what everyone wants. Contrast that to the support Stuart and the team received for his first home game in charge against the Mariners. The atmosphere then was absolutely fantastic. It is more likely the players will respond better to a positively charged atmosphere at home rather than a negative one.
To make Stuart McCall a success story at City, he needs us, the fans to get behind the team 100%
For him this will be third time lucky. We wish him every success in his bid to take us up.
